If German is your language, you are in luck. If English is you language, you are in luck.
If your language is something else, it is more difficult, but see what follows (in English).
Write a message to Support @ RapidShare . com (removing the spaces). The capital letters are for illustration and it makes no difference. Send your message from the same email address which you used to create the account --- when you pay for RapidShare account, your password is sent by email. Use that email.
Explain that your account password has been changed by some other person and it was not authorized. Give them some details of when you paid and the method you used to pay. You should tell them a thing which nobody would know but you.
For example:
Your name as it appeared on your registration
The date the account was created
The email address of your PayPal account if that is the way you paid
PayPal transaction ID. This is VERY helpful if you can find it. Often, you can go to www . paypal . com and log into your account and find payment details for some time in the past.
When you have provided those infos to RapidShare, they will reset your password and email the new password to you.
In my situation, someone hacked into my RapidShare account and changed the password and the email address. So, when I requested a password reminder, the notice was sent to the imposter!
RapidShare will probably tell you the email address which the account is using --- they told me and it was not anyone I knew.
So, when you get your new password, log in to your account and set a new password and change the email address to the one you really use (always best to make the email same as your PayPal email if you purchased the account using PayPal.)
Good luck. RapidShare support is very good. Just tell them enough things to assure them you are the genuine owner of the account.
